A experiencia subxectiva da tristeza oscila entre a pena leve e a pena intensa propia do duelo ou da depresi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>O factor determinante para diferenciar tristeza e ira \u00e9 o convencemento que ten a persoa sobre a posibilidade de facer algo ou non con vistas \u00e1 recuperaci\u00f3n da meta ou \u00e1 neutralizaci\u00f3n do estado aversivo. Cando a valoraci\u00f3n cognitiva leva ao suxeito a colexir que non existe plan alg\u00fan que lle permita restablecer a meta perdida, ent\u00f3n a emoci\u00f3n concomitante ser\u00e1 a tristeza. Si se colixe que s\u00ed, ser\u00e1 a ira. Estes par\u00e1metros oscilar\u00e1n entre unha tristeza leve e de curta duraci\u00f3n e unha melancol\u00eda intensa e perdurable, que pode ter consecuencias patol\u00f3xicas nas persoas que a sofre (depresi\u00f3n cl\u00ednica e suicidio).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Un dos efectos cognitivos que provoca esta emoci\u00f3n \u00e9 a atenuaci\u00f3n da atenci\u00f3n cara ao ambiente e, naquel momento, a s\u00faa orientaci\u00f3n cara ao medio interno. Esta medida procura ao individuo un certo illamento estimular, que lle permite rexeitar eventos emocionais que polo seu dif\u00edcil manexo, xeran tensi\u00f3n e dan p\u00e9 \u00e1 emerxencia da tristeza. Ademais este estado de relativo confinamento favorece a autoevaluaci\u00f3n e a reflexi\u00f3n sobre a situaci\u00f3n problema.<\/p>\n<p>As\u00ed mesmo, infl\u00fae tam\u00e9n sobre os procesos de pensamento da persoa: as\u00f3ciase cunha menor propensi\u00f3n a utilizar xu\u00edzos heur\u00edsticos e, no seu lugar, a guiarse por procedementos r\u00edxidos e estereotipados. Con esta conduta reservada a persoa desconecta do resto de comportamentos planificados e aforra enerx\u00eda para tentar solucionar o conflito que lle levou ao estado de tristeza. Por este motivo, estar triste en parte \u00e9 o primeiro paso para resolver o problema que hai levado a ese estado emocional. Ademais, esta conduta favorece a modulaci\u00f3n dalg\u00fans procesos cognitivos que mante\u00f1en o estado de acantonamiento, por exemplo reducindo a nosa atenci\u00f3n sobre outros est\u00edmulos menos importantes nese momento.<\/li>\n<li>Moderaci\u00f3n funcional. Coa tristeza se aten\u00faa o funcionamento xeral da persoa xa que o acontecemento que a provocou foi unha situaci\u00f3n de conflito (medo, ira, ansiedade&#8230;) polo que o organismo necesita acougarse dalgunha maneira. A tristeza reduce os niveis altos de activaci\u00f3n tanto cognitiva como f\u00edsica. Esta desaceleraci\u00f3n cognitiva permitir\u00e1 render mellor na an\u00e1lise do sucedido e investir m\u00e1is tempo na resoluci\u00f3n do problema.<\/li>\n<li>Impacto social. Cando unha persoa est\u00e1 triste exerce un efecto catalizador sobre o apoio social e afectivo dos demais. X\u00e9rase m\u00e1is facilmente empat\u00eda cunha persoa triste e \u00e9 m\u00e1is piadoso prestarlle atenci\u00f3n. O sentimento de melancol\u00eda fainos m\u00e1is propensos a buscar alivio e apoio a trav\u00e9s do contacto social. Isto non sucede sempre as\u00ed. En ocasi\u00f3ns a persoa triste se retrae completamente e reh\u00faye de maneira extrema do contacto social. Este \u00faltimo caso sucede cando a situaci\u00f3n de conflito afecta de maneira directa \u00e1 autoestima da persoa e \u00e1 s\u00faa imaxe social que a persoa quere dar sobre si mesma.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Tristeza patol\u00f3xica<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>A tristeza extrema adopta sempre un cariz incapacitante, frecuentemente dando forma a un cadro psicopatol\u00f3xico de alta prevalencia, a depresi\u00f3n. O aspecto afectivo m\u00e1is destacable desta patolox\u00eda \u00e9 o sentimento de melancol\u00eda profunda que, xunto coa incapacidade para experimentar pracer alg\u00fan (anhedonia), impregna tanto os procesos mentais da persoa como a s\u00faa interacci\u00f3n co medio. A persoa inst\u00e1lase nunha actitude pesimista e un desinterese que alcanza a todos os \u00e1mbitos da s\u00faa vida.<\/p>\n<p>A reflexi\u00f3n mental leva a cabo de forma lenta e custosa, e ded\u00edcase preferentemente \u00e1 elaboraci\u00f3n de contidos negativos, que viran ao redor de sentimentos de des\u00e1nimo e incapacidade. A atenci\u00f3n e a concentraci\u00f3n dimin\u00faen de forma notoria, basicamente como resultado do desinterese, a falta de motivaci\u00f3n e o baixo nivel de activaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Prod\u00facese, ademais, unha afectaci\u00f3n dos ritmos biol\u00f3xicos, alteraci\u00f3ns do so\u00f1o e do apetito.
